Library Liaison Model

Since Fall 2022, each academic department has been paired with a liaison from the library. Your department's liaison librarian can teach information literacy instruction sessions, lead workshops for students in a particular major or program, collaborate on programming initiatives, answer questions about collections and services, and more. The major goals of this program are threefold:

  • to build relationships,
  • to increase communication and transparency, and
  • to encourage collaboration between librarians and teaching faculty.
