Resources and research strategies for students in First Year Seminars

Welcome!

Welcome to the Hood College Library's First Year Seminar page! Work through this guide to learn research strategies that will help you:

Research & Instruction Librarians and Peer Research & Teaching Assistant

Our team of Research & Instruction Librarians teach information literacy instruction sessions and support your research in your first year and beyond. Our FYS Library Research & Teaching Assistant assists in these sessions and can also meet one-on-one with students working on research projects. You are welcome to reach out to us for research support by setting up an appointment, stopping by our office on the first floor of the library, or emailing us. We are here to help you! Find all the ways you can reach us here: hood.libguides.com/fys/help
