How to Search for Books in the Library

You can use OneSearch to search both our physical collection of books on the third floor and thousands of ebooks on topics in all disciplines.

Navigate to OneSearch from the library home page by clicking "Search for Articles, Books, and More."

Once you're in OneSearch, type the title of the book you're looking for in the search bar. Click the drop-down menu underneath the search bar labeled "All items." To limit your search for books and ebooks, select "Books," then click the green magnifying glass to search.

If the library has the book on the shelves, you'll see the location (Library Main Stacks) and the call number.

Book with call number

All books are organized from 0 - 1000 and labeled with a call number. Call number ranges are on the ends of each of the shelves. Once you find the book on the third floor, you can check it out at the Information Desk on the first floor and take it home with you.
