Residents of Leesburg and Loudoun County Virginia can get free food, groceries, clothing, and other aid. For information on the leading pantries, non-profit food banks, charities, and churches to call for help, as they are listed below. There are also several soup kitchens that operate in the community. Every year thousands of local Loudoun County families receive food assistance.
The centers listed below can offer some of the following services. They may be able to distribute emergency food, meals and groceries for Loudoun County residents. Many food banks provide USDA commodities and government surplus food to income eligible families/households. Some pantries run holiday programs and offer Christmas and Thanksgiving meals as well to families and children.
While not as common, most food banks can also provide individuals with assistance such as clothes for work or school, uniforms and case management. Other locations can offer household goods, such as furniture and/or personal hygiene products. The food pantries can offer free food, diapers, and clothes to people in need in Loudoun County. For additional referrals to food bank and soup kitchens, dial 540.248.3663. There are other non-profits in Loudoun County that feed the needy. Or inquire into public benefits, such as WIC vouchers for new moms and infants.

This is also a Homeless Services Center. Emergency food boxes, meals, and other aid can be provided to people of all backgrounds, including the homeless. They also arrange for Christmas meals.

Residents of any age, income, or background who need financial assistance may contact the Salvation Army of Loudoun County for help and advice. The non-profit distributes assistance for a number of basic needs and a food bank is also on site.
